Did you know that Portland has 94 official neighborhoods divided into six directional sections? The sections are: North, North East, South East, South, North West, South West, and are still referred by many as ‘quadrants’ even though there’s now 6 instead of 4.
Each neighborhood also belongs to a ‘neighborhood coalition’, and there are seven of those (just to keep it interesting).
